Policies, Rules, and Regulations for short term lease, (1 day to one month)

  • 1. Term/period: The Rental period will begin upon check-in (after 14:00) on the date of your booking and terminate maximum by 11:00 am on the day of your checkout as per your booking. If you wish to extend, an extension is possible only if the apartment/ room is free and is not booked by another reservation, and is subject to Hope Building Apartments’ (landlord) approval. The extension is allowed only after you have arranged to pay the full amount of the requested extension.

  • 2. Use of the premises:  The Apartment/ Room is fully furnished. You shall maintain the premises (rented Apartment and public shared areas) in a good, clean, and ready-to-rent condition, and use the premises only carefully and lawfully. The tenants shall leave the premises in a ready-to-rent condition at the expiration of the rental agreement, defined by the Landlord as being immediately habitable for the following tenants (except for housekeeping). Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs if the premises are in a lesser condition. The tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct the cost of said services from the security deposit (if it was requested) or deducted from the credit card that was used to make the reservation.

  • 3. Payment: The rental amount will be paid online upon the conclusion of the reservation.

  • 4. Security Deposit: You agree to pay a security deposit as required by the reservation. This will be refunded when you leave the property or when this agreement is terminated. This will be used to cover any damage you caused to the property, as necessary.

  • 5. Occupancy: The number and names of occupants will be as per the reservation you made. 

  • 6. Utilities and Furniture: Electricity, water, Wi-Fi, will be covered by the Hope Building Apartments (landlord). The tenant is responsible for taking good care of the furniture and appliances. The tenant will pay for any repair or replacement if the equipment was damaged because of misuse during their stay.

  • 7. Subletting: The tenant agrees not to assign or sublet the property.

  • 8. Maintenance, Peace/Order, And Others: You and all other members on your reservation should follow and implement the standard of cleanliness to the property.

    • Pets are not allowed on the premises.

    • Due to the presence of smoke detectors everywhere on the premises, smoking is forbidden except in designated (outdoor) areas.

    • You are not allowed to keep firearms, bows, and other weapons in the rental property.

    • You agree not to use the property in a way to disturb the peace in the surroundings or environment.

    • The tenant's personal property is not covered in the insurance purchased by the landlord against loss, theft, and negligence. Use the room safe and your own secure system to protect your personal belongings.

  • 9. Indemnification: You indemnify the Hope Building Apartments (landlord) and the property free and harmless against any liabilities like accidents, loss of property, injury, or death of any person.

  • 10. Amendment: This agreement can only be changed or modified with the written consent or permission from both Hope Building Apartments (landlord) and the lessee.

  • 11. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed under the laws of the State of Palestine.
